VAT Rates in Slovakia and Estonia are Increasing 2025

Slovakia is increasing their VAT Rates to 23% and 19% in January 2025.
If you are doing business in Slovakia next year you will need to increase the standard VAT rate from 20% to 23%. And the reduced VAT rate of 19% (is replacing the current 10% reduced VAT).

VAT Rate Increase to 24% in Estonia in July 2025.
The Estonian parliament confirmed that they are increasing the standard VAT rate from 22% to 24%. 24% standard VAT is effective as of July 2025. This is a four year plan, by January 2029 the rate may return to 22%. EuroVAT will assist with reporting these changes.

On the bright side, next year Estonia will consolidate the regular VAT return with the EC Sales List. As of January 2025, the companies only need to submit the Estonian VAT returns.
